I was searching for a new eyebrow product that would help me achieve a natural looking brow with a bit more shape. I had heard many beauty bloggers raving about this product. When I came across this in Boots for £10, I couldn’t resist. I have been using this product on my brows every day for just over a month now, so I thought I would share my thoughts and opinions on Soap&Glory Archery.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I thought I had just found the best eyebrow product EVER! I loved it. It has a pen side on one end and a pencil on the other, I used the pencil side to outline my brows and then the pen side to fill them in. It gave me such a natural look as it didn’t look like I was wearing too much product/had my brows drawn on, what more could I ask for? The shade choices were limited. They have Love is Blonde which is the lightest shade they do, Brownie Points (the one I got) which is for brunettes and Dark chocolate for some very dark brows. I’m pretty sure not everyone would fit into these few shades, I found Brownie points slightly too light for me but Dark chocolate would have washed me out totally!

WHAT I THINK NOW: After a few weeks of using this product my opinion of it slowly started to change. At first the product came out so easily making it super quick to apply but by this point (a month on) it seemed like I had almost ran out of product. I was having to shake the product before using it to get anything out of the pen side, the pencil side was just as temperamental as it was crumbling away when you put the slightest pressure on it; this meant you were losing out on half the product.  To begin with this product was amazing but when you’re spending £10 which is only £5 less than Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade and £8.50 less than Benefit Ka Brow, I expected it to last a lot longer. This product has lasted me just over a month therefore throughout the year I would need 11 of these, coming in at a total of £110, which is way too much to be spending on brows.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN: I’ll continue to use this product every now and then until it’s totally empty but it’s not something I will be purchasing again. For an extra £8.50 I’m going to purchase Benefit Ka Brow and see how I get along with that, I’ll let you know the results!

Please let me know if you’ve tried this product what you thought of it and if there are any brow products out there that you absolutely love.

Bryony xx
