The time of year where Instagram is covered with pictures of Pandora rings, flowers and heart-shaped chocolates is fastly approaching. To me it only seems like Christmas was last week, where’s the year going, ay?

I’ve never been one to make a big thing about Valentine’s Day, okay I might like to go for a meal with my boyfriend but I don’t expect or want anything over the top. I see it just like another day, you want to make your partner feel special and have a good time, but that should be happening every day. Even if you’re not in a relationship it’s a day that you should still enjoy, meet up with some friends and do something nice to make yourselves feel good. Here are some ideas of dates you could go on this Valentines:

  1. Go to a trampoline park (they look SUPER FUN, this is my plan)
  2. Go to an aquarium
  3. Go to a zoo (FEED THE PENGUINS, if you can)
  4. Ice-skating (maybe, probably not without falling over)
  5. Roller-skating (I know, It’s not 2002 but I’d like to see if I can still do it)
  6. A chilled shopping trip with lunch out
  7. Movie day (snuggle up in your duvet, get a pizza on and have some tea, you don’t need to go out to have a good time)
  8. Bowling (get a bit competitive!)
  9. Go for an afternoon tea (treat yourself to all the cute little cupcakes)
  10. Go to a gig (see your fav band or support your local band)
  11. Go to the seaside (the weather isn’t ace but seaside walks are always cute plus the café’s in the area are always lovely and cosy)
  12. See a movie (if you can both agree on a film)
  13. Paintballing
  14. Cooking a meal together at home (super cute!)
  15. Spa Day (let yourself relax, spend ages in the sauna)
  16. See a show at the theatre (WICKED IS MY FAV)
  17. Go to a waterpark (not the most traditional date but oh my would I have the time of my life)
  18. Have a games night (get competitive at monopoly maybe play some cards too)
  19. Rock climbing (there are a lot of indoor climbing centres about now over the country, Highball in Norwich is a real good one)
  20. Build a snowman (unfortunately I don’t think the weather will be on our side for this one but I really wish! FINGERS CROSSED)
  21. Go for a bike ride (maybe take a picnic with you too, BLT sandwiches)
  22. Go out to a bar (have a few drinks, let your hair down)
  23. Gaming evening (play your fav PlayStation games whilst snacking on ice-cream, a game suggestion: KINGDOM HEARTS!)
  24. Go for a dog walk (find a nice little country route near where you live, walk and talk)
  25. Baking (make some cupcakes or brownies or CHEESECAKE!)
  26. Go to the arcade (try out the claw grab machines and the 2p ones)
  27. See an outdoor movie (y’know like the ones where you can drive to and park up in your car and watch the movie. If there is one of these near you I think you should definitely go, would be such a lovely idea, hella cute!)

I hope you all have a lovely valentine’s day however you are spending it or whoever you are spending it with, also let me know if you have any exciting plans!

Bryony xx
