For a long time now I’ve been wanting to try the ‘Too Faced’ heart shaped blushes and highlights as they look super adorable. However,  I don’t want to be splashing out money on high-end products (at least not all the time) so I thought I would try out a drugstore dupe. We all know that ‘Make up Revolution’ and their partner brand ‘I Heart Make up’ do super affordable duplicate products; I know everyone has their own opinions of what they think of this brand but I don’t see the harm in it, not everyone can afford £20+ on every make-up item. I totally understand that the quality isn’t going to be as good as ‘Too Faced’ but for the price of £4.99 it seems pretty damn good!

I picked up the ‘Triple Baked Highlighter’ in the shade ‘Goddess of Love’. The reason the I chose this one was because out of all their highlights it had the most glittery silver shine to it, which is what I love in a highlight.

I thought the outer white box of the product was super-duper cute with the metallic pink writing, even though it appeared to be made out of cheap cardboard they still managed to make it look pretty. However, I wasn’t as impressed with the packaging of the highlight itself. The heart shape is wrapped in a gold paper which seemed to have been done in such a rush that there are white gaps left where the gold paper had been folded inside the box. Not the best quality but what can we expect, ay? Moving on, the highlight is kept in a white plastic heart, however, the shape of the plastic heart doesn’t totally match the shape of the cardboard heart packaging, making it look a little rough around the edges.

If I’m honest I wouldn’t say it’s anything special as a highlight, after I’ve rubbed my brush into the powder a fair bit it creates a nice little shimmer on my cheeks however that disappears after a few hours. It’s pretty average, nothing overly great to rave about, I think I still prefer the makeup revolution baked highlighters, they’re a cheaper price too!

Unfortunately, I don’t think I would. I’ll carry on using this product until it runs out, there’s nothing wrong with it; I just believe there are better drugstore highlights for roughly the same price.

let me know what you thought of this highlight if you’ve tried it!

I’m glad I’ve seen this post now, I was planning on buying this but it doesn’t seem that pigmented or long lasting.

I recently bought Goddess of Faith, and I kind of agree with you! It is really pretty, but if you build it up if just looks like a grey stripe on your face!xx

I think I may have this highlight but it may be lost in one of my boxes. I had bought it coz it was quite cheap but now that I read your review not sure I’ll be using it. Or I may coz maybe it looks different on my skin. Anyway, thanks for the review! xx corinne

love this – I’ve actually been wanting to try these out but wasn’t sure if it was worth the money or if I should opt for a different one, liked that you were honest about the product and it definitely helped me out x

I currently use one of Collection’s highlighters personally just to trail it out. I think it works pretty well for the price, but will probably go on to something a bit more expensive/higher quality when it runs out! It’s a shame these didn’t work out… but hey, it makes for a good photo prop too?
