SEPTEMBER IN REVIEW

blog 2

I can’t believe that we’re round to September already, partly because I feel like we totally skipped out summer this year, which may have something to do with us only getting around 5 hot days. Regretting not booking a holiday abroad now! At least we’re now getting around to be best 4 months of the year, we’ve got Halloween, Bonfire night, the LEAD UP to Christmas and Christmas itself all still to come, what could be better!

My month in Review –  This is going to work slightly like a monthly favourites, I’m going to touch on the products I’ve been loving and the ones I thought were a waste of money, but I’m also going to be chatting about events that have happened in my life during September. It’s pretty much a chattier, slightly more lifestyle favs.

WHAT I LOVED THIS SEPTEMBER

BLACK AND WHITE STRIPE VANS – I’m sure you know the ones I’m on about, the ones you see every other person wearing right now, I got a new pair. My old pair I bought around 3 years ago was looking a bit grey and worse for wear so I decided it was time for an upgrade and I LOVE them! I’m pretty sure that the price of them has gone up since they’ve gone from being the ‘pop-punk’ kids shoe to the ‘in the fashion’ shoe, I was almost shocked when I saw the tag for £60.

TOPSHOP BLUE JAMIE JEANS – The only jeans I will buy from Topshop now days are blue ones, I can’t afford to have the colour washed out of my jeans within 2 weeks, not worth the money. Their blue jeans are a totally different story, so COMFTY its unreal and they look like REAL DEMIN, I want to wear them every day!

SNOW’ELLA BODY MIST – Just imagine Christmas for a moment, all the Christmas trees, tinsel, presents, roast dinners, advent calendars, and now imagine that as a fragrance; that’s what you get! I want to spray it on myself 50 times a day, if not more, it’s so festive I absolutely love it!

LEVEL 1 PADDLE COACH – Earlier this month I did a qualification to become a coach in canoeing and kayaking, this would enable me to teach beginner courses and taster sessions. I PASSED THE COURSE, which I’m over the moon about, total highlight!

WHAT HASN’T BEEN SO GOOD THIS SEPTEMBER

BROKEN LAPTOP – As a blogger, I’m sure you can agree that your laptop is a treasured piece of equipment, it’s where you write posts, edit them, upload, edit pictures, control social media and without one there’s a little panic. Mines on its last legs of working right now as it has a cracked screen, broken touch screen and a battery that doesn’t hold its charge, it’s seen much better days. I think I’m going to have to upgrade fairly soon so if you have any suggestions of good laptops please let me know, I’d be entirely grateful (not too pricey though).

THE WEATHER – Typical British comment, yes. I’m sure the start of last September there was still a little sun, a few days where you haven’t had to wear a cosy jumper, I’ve already worn 4 layers this month. Winters coming early…

  10. I’ve been wearing my black and white vans through this summer! I have to admit I hate the fact that they can actually give me blisters from time to time 😂 but well, for fashion and style sake, gotta deal with it. And I definitely need a new laptop lol mine is too slow and in need of a replacement!

Congrats on passing your paddle course! I love kayaking – there’s nothing better than being in nature 🙂 So bleak to read about your laptop… I’d recommend any of the Lenovo laptops. They have incredible battery life <3
