It’s that time of month again, where I get to sit down with a cuppa tea and have a chatter about all the bits I’ve loved this month, there have been many.
Now the clocks have gone back I’ve loved the cosier darker evenings, only because they make it acceptable to put on your pj’s when you get home from work at 5:30 and wack on a classic Disney film. What’s better than that? Anyway, here are the beauty and lifestyle items I couldn’t get enough of this month:
If you haven’t heard of the Mandeville’s before on YouTube, they’re two sisters called Grace and Amelia who product fantastic content; they used to create ‘Mandev-Weekly’ which was a short vlog summarising their week. They’ve now created their own vlog channel where they daily vlog, each vlog is roughly 7-11 mins long, however I could watch for MUCH longer. Both the girls are so lovely and hilarious making every second a joy to watch, if you love a good old vlog you should for sure check them out!
If you saw my ‘September In Review’ post I’m sure you remember me saying how my laptop was broken making me in desperate need of a new one. Well, my boyfriend, the little gem he is, surprised me with a 13 inch gold HP laptop, oh my it’s GORGEOUS, words can’t describe how much I adore it!! It’s touch screen and flips around into a tablet, it’s a dream, I can’t get over how lucky I am.
I’m sure you’ve heard everyone raving about Botanics at the moment, they seem to be the new skincare brand of the month, most bloggers have something good to say about them. I thought I’d try them out. Okay, so on a scale of 1 to 10 my eyes are 9 on the sensitive rating, so finding a make-up remover that my skin doesn’t react too proves to be a challenge. A challenge that Botanics have passed, a little bit of product on a cotton pad and my heavy eye make up glides off, leaving my eyes feeling smooth and clean. It’s a bargain price too at the moment, under £3.50 at boots!!
This highlighter palette is the one I’ve been reaching for on a day to basis, especially when I’m not going anywhere fancy so I don’t want to waste my afterglow palette. A girls gotta saver those higher end products! For the price of £6.40 there’s no way you can complain about the pigment and colour payoff, lasts the WHOLE day (if you’re inside, maybe not so well in the wind and rain).
I’d never heard of this product before I won it in Twitter giveaway that was hosted my @stephhartley4, who by the way is super lovely! I’d call this product a mix of a shimmery bronzer and a contour powder, it blends really easily and is perfect for a cooler contour, exactly what i’m after on a day-to-day basis.
There’s one more item that I really really WANTED to add in however I only purchased it on the last day of the month so I need to trial it out a bit more before I blog about it. If you’ve seen any of my social media’s recently you may be aware that that item is indeed my Olympus Pen E-PL7.
What products have you been loving this October?
