Ready for a lil trip down memory lane? Here we go…
10 years ago, back in 2007 I would of been 10 years old, feels like a lifetime ago. I thought it would be interesting to look back on what was on my Christmas list back then and what I received from good ol’ Santa Clause!
1. NINTENDO DS
This was the games console of the times and the second games console I would ever own (first was PlayStation 1). I wanted this ever so much, a Pink DS sounded like best best Christmas present ever to me that year.
This was the one game that EVERY single girl at my school with a DS had! We’d all sit round at the morning club before school with our pink DS’s taking our dogs on walks and training them in competitions. It makes me chuckle how un-inventive we were with our dog names, they were along the lines of spotty, dotty, fluffy, oh dear.
3. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL DS GAME
This was one of those typical music games where a song was played and you had to tap on the circle before became complete. y’know what I mean? Being the biggest HSM I was this sounded like the coolest game one could ask for!
4. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL LIVE TICKETS
I received tickets to see HSM at Norwich Theatre Royal in February 2007, little me was over the moon! THE EXCITEMENT WAS REAL, going there will always be a special memory.
5. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 DVD
I was a massive fan, of course I wanted this, why wouldn’t I? I remember getting the single version of ‘What Time Is It?’ the summer before and I’d listen to it over and OVER! I can only imagine how annoying this must of been for my family, soz.
6. HANNAH MONTANA DVD’S
Another Disney show I was OBSESSED with! We didn’t have Sky on our TV so I wanted all the DVD’s so I binge watch her, good choice by little me, Miley is such a star.
7. LAVA LAMP
These were the coolest lighting craze at the time, I mean what could look more funky than a lamp that changes colours and creates bubbles inside it, not much at all. I still remember that this was one of the items I never received, probably a good job as after so long it would of just sat on the side and collected dust!
8. BANG ON THE DOOR STICKERS
Groovy Chick was really the Girl of the times back in 2007, she had her face on everything and I pretty much owned everything with her face on. For some reason I really wanted these stickers, y’know the ones you can put on your bedroom walls to spice it up, plus it didn’t damage the paintwork!
What was on your Christmas wish list when you were 10, I’d love to hear!
