I’ve adored Lucy’s video’s for a long time now, she’s so down to earth and genuinely lovely. It’s also hard not to admire the intelligent way she has of wording everything she says; nothing like all the challenge video’s you get nowadays. Her content is a massive breath of fresh air, one you need to have!

The new series Lucy’s recently started ‘The Sunday Social’ involves her interviewing one of her pals, who’s also a creator; so far there’s been Lauren Aquilina who’s a singer-songwriter, Josh Edwards a music manager and Bejay Mulenga an Entrepreneur. They chat about what their job role involves as well as how you can enter that career. Very helpful for those who might be aspiring to that job role for the future. I found myself so engaged the whole way through the video despite them being 30+ minutes long, sometimes a long chatty video is just what you need.

AMY CADWALLADER – Why I Won’t Let Numbers Define Me

I have so much love for this post; it’s honestly one that every blogger needs to read.

Amy talks about the ‘issues’ that every blogger seems to have, such as: ‘why am I only getting this amount of likes when I’ve put this much effort into the picture’ and ‘why are my followers de-creasing, what have I done wrong?’. She reminds us all that numbers aren’t the important part of blogging, even though it’s easy to get caught up in them having a high follower count doesn’t necessarily mean you’re the best.

CHARLOTTE (COLOURSCAROSEL) Is Blogging Full-Time Really The Dream?

Something we all want to know, right? I’m sure we all dream about it…

Despite what your personal opinion is on the topic I find it interesting to see what other bloggers think, is it something they consider a dream job or just a hobby?

Charlotte speaks about how she loves blogging to earn money for the time being but doesn’t see it as her long-term plan. She informs us how stressful it can be with chasing up invoices from brands as well as the schedule lacking routine and stability, which is a fair point. She also raises the point that her blog is her creative outlet like it is for all bloggers; with doing it as a job she doesn’t want to be forced to write anything which doesn’t come naturally. PLEASE READ HER FULL POST, IT’S A FANTASTIC READ!

The whole topic really intrigues me, it’s a job that’s not spoken about much; in my personal opinion, I think it’s such a cool girl-boss kinda thing to be able to do!
