I find sometimes there are always a few questions which are sitting at the back of your mind, nagging you for an answer or playing with your thoughts. It’s like your questioning the world around you, the way things work and why it isn’t the way you want it, are you following? anyway, here are a few of those weird questions that I’ve been thinking lately:
Does Nivea actually moisturize my lips or just make them worse? I’ve been getting really dry and cracked lips with all this super cold, minus temperatures weather. It seemed the more Nivea that I was applying the more irritated my lips were getting which didn’t make sense to me as surely they needed moisture. I think maybe my lips had got so bad they needed something stronger as maybe Nivea is used for prevention, I settled on a product called Blistex.
How am I going to fill a house/apartment on a budget? By no way am I ready to move out yet but the day will come in the next few years, fingers crossed? Even now I can’t help but notice all these beautiful small apartments on Pinterest, despite the small space they’re still furnished to look like a bloggers dream. I feel like I need to start taking notes of small decorating touches I can make cheaply so I can make it feel homely after splashing out on beds, dishwashers and all the necessities.
Why can’t I cook rice without burning it? not to big myself up or anything but I’d like to think I’m pretty decent at cooking, however, no matter how many times I try I can’t get rice spot on. It’s either burnt and mega stuck to the pan or drowned in water; the answer is now always uncle bens 2-minute microwave bag rice.
Does cutting out chocolate and crisps really make you lose weight? These two are both items that feature very marginally in my diet, it’s very rare I eat more than a couple of bags of crisps a month. This isn’t due to me trying to be healthy, it’s just a personal preference of flavours. Despite this, I barely seem to lose any weight, I guess it’s all down to what else you eat and how active you are too but I think I’m pretty good at those two factors. I just don’t believe cutting them out makes that much of a difference as it’s sometimes made out to, controversial I know.
Is the new Christopher Robin film going to fulfil my hopes and dreams? Winnie the Pooh was the best thing ever to me as a child, I collected all of the plushes and was obsessed, to say the least. It leaves me rather nervous after seeing the teasers for the new Disney film ‘Christopher Robin’, I just really hope all the magic is captured and I’m left feeling satisfied. I’m emotionally invested in this, a lot.
I got the idea for this post from the lovely Alice Rose; so you should definitely go and check out her post too, you can do so HERE.
