I did it, I’ve finally moved out of my family home! (I can’t believe it either)

On the 6th of October, I moved into a flat share with another girl who’s so lovely. The flat is decorated in a modern style and looks 11/10 with a lightroom filter and still 10/10 without one.

Take a peek at a couple of rooms:

I’m so excited to be starting on this new adventure, you have no idea omg!

I also have a MASSIVE to do list at the moment, here’s a few on the things on it: find some nice prints on Etsy for my room, learn how to do a healthy food shop, how to not waste food because it’s gone out of date, how to budget my money slightly better and how to actually cook rice. (the last one isn’t so important as I don’t actually like rice)

I can tell that for the next few months, at least, it’s going to feel so bizarre coming back here. In my head I’ll be like ‘is this really my home now?’.  I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up going on autopilot and driving home to my parents, it’s going to happen (at least I’d get a nice gravy dinner out of it).

It’s honestly so nice just to have that extra little bit of freedom, to get home and decide what you’re going to eat, what time you’re going to eat, when you’re going to shower and play music and not have parents moan at you. (I’m sure it was in a caring way though)

I’m sure I’m going to end up learning more about myself and you’ll hear all about it.

Stay tuned folks.

Yaaay for moving into your own place! It’s such an exciting adventure ☺️ I moved out of my parents in June but I still refer to their place as home 😂 Since moving out I make sure I always meal plan so that I only buy what I need and so far it’s worked really well ☺️
