I’m currently in the bath with my blackcurrant lemsip, which by the way, honey doesn’t help improve the flavour. I also had some super cute soap flowers that I’ve been overly excited to try out since I got them in September. I got a good picture out of them (which will be on my Instagram soon) then 2 minutes later they dissolved into colourful gunk, lovely. I’m getting besides the point here now oops.
I thought in hope to cheer myself up I’d look up some Christmas party dresses that would be a stunner this Christmas season, so here are my favourite 8 that I wanted to share with you:
I would feel like such a party queen wearing this item; just imagine walking into an event where everyone is wearing plain, one colour outfits and here you are with a cute sparkly dress. It’d be an eye catcher for sure!
I adore the fact it has 3/4 length sleeves too as it means if you’re going to an indoor occasion you could wear it without a jacket, this saves the stress of what to pair it (as well as your bank account as you don’t have to buy another item).
This one has a little bit more of a sophisticated vibe to it, the sort of outfit you could wear to your grandparents birthday and they would comment on how you look like a ‘nice young lady’.
I adore the detailing of the lace over the top of the fabric; it makes a plain black dress into a ‘wow’ item, you must agree that the intricate colourful dots are beautiful.
Mini Dress With Plunge In Spot And Plural – ASOS (number three)
Isn’t this the actual cutest with the fluttery sleeves; it’d be ideal for an afternoon date/ afternoon tea.
The floral detail makes the dress into much more of an exciting piece as it adds that detail of slightly more colour.
This knitted dress is the cutest slightly dressy/ casual item, it’s chill enough to wear out when you’re not attending anywhere special.
This also screams to be such a hella cute Christmas day outfit, it appears that you’ve made an effort but at the same time you’re cosy/ comfortable.
If you know me you’ll know I love a good striped item, they’re so simple but cute as.
Fluted Sleeve Smock Mini Dress In Spot Print – ASOS (number five)
Have you guessed that I’m a little obsessed with fluted sleeves at the moment?
This cute little ASOS number is a bargain price and would be perfect for a day to day item, you’re even able to wear it all year round.
Button Through Mini Skater Dress With Tie Sleeves In Spot – ASOS (number six)
Quick Note: there is currently 20% off at ASOS due to Black Friday I believe
I mean it’s black and white, got the cute tie sleeves and has button detailing, it had to be in here. This dress is a more of a day to day item rather than ‘going out to an event’ style, however, it’s one that I would LIVE in.
Just imagine it with a pair of black tights, Chelsea boots and a teddy coat, omg I need it.
Barb Fit & Red Flare Mini Dress – Urban Outfitters (Number Seven)
First things first, this babe of a dress is in the Black Friday sales for £25.00; it’s rare to get a ‘going out’ dress from OU at that price.
Can we just appreciate how silky and gorgeous it looks, it’s THE perfect colour for this time of year; but it’s also done in a way that’s in not ‘in your face’ Christmas so you can wear it all year round.
I’m currently debating dipping into my saving to splurge on it as payday is a few days after the sales, how inconvenient.
Orange Straight Neck Velvet Jumpsuit – Urban Outfitters (number Eight)
Of course, OA has this gem on sale too, it’s down from £49 to £34.
My head at the moment is going ‘finish the blog post before you start online shopping’.
I’m aware this one isn’t a ‘dress’ but it has to make the cut, it’s utterly adorable and the shade of burnt orange/ copper is rather festive too.
