‘Neek’ is an Australian vegan beauty company who make all of their products from natural ingredients, their packaging is even eco-friendly. Even though I am not vegan myself, I am all for products that DO NOT test on animals as I believe it’s so cruel.
When I received an email from the brand asking if I would like to try their brand new moisturizer and cleanser, I couldn’t say no. I’ve been trying so hard to stay away from removing my make-up with just make-up wipes as it’s so bad for my skin, plus it seems to dry my skin out.
Here’s what I thought of the products:
Firstly, the packaging of both of the products is super cute, the cleanser tube comes in a pastel pink shade with white detailing and the moisturizer comes in white with pink detailing. They look hella sweet next to each other on a shelf!
‘Neek’ Moisturizer – $18.00 aka £13.70
The tube contains 75ml of product, I’ve been using it every day for 2 weeks now and I’ve barely used any from the tube. I would guess that a tube would last you around 4/5 months if you were to use it every day.
I apply the moisturizer after I’ve taken my make up off in order to put some moisture back into my skin for the evening.
Before using the ‘Neek’ product I was using the Estee Lauder Daywear cream which 50ml is £45.00, this product is over £30 cheaper and you get more in the tube. I really can’t grumble!
‘Neek’ Cleanser $14.50 aka £11.00
The tube contains 100ml of product, which personally I believe is a decent amount of product for the price you are paying. I squeeze out a pee sized dot onto my hands, add a little water, rub the hands together to foam up the cleanser and then apply to my face. It works an absolute treat for removing my makeup; it takes EVERYTHING off, apart from a little mascara that’s left under my eye. It’s the kind of product that’s perfect to use on a day to day, especially if you own some more expensive skincare that you don’t want to run out.
To put this cleanser into perspective, it’s able to remove my make up just as well as my ‘special cleansing gel’ from Dermologica and it’s £17.00 cheaper; two of these for the price of one of those.
This product is for sure going to become a staple in my skincare routine and I am so so glad that I discovered it!
Would I recommend these products?
I for sure would as I believe they are super affordable for the amount of product that you’re getting. They also leave your skin feeling treated and super soft!
Have you tried out any ‘Neek’ skincare yet?
