I’m going to start this off by telling you that I’ve only ever left the country once before, which was to Portugal back in 2016 I believe. I feel like I have so much still to experience, so many new places to see and fall in love with.
I’m currently in the process of planning a break away for the end of January/ the start of February with my best friend; I think Tenerife is currently top of our list.
Fingers crossed we find something good.
I hope within the next 5 years I will have visited at least 5 new counties, even if some of them are just for a weekend away.
Here are some of the places that are top of my list:
ICELAND – The Blue Lagoon
The warm, glowing, dreamy blue waters of the Lagoon are ones I want to spend hours in relaxing, walking about and taking breathtaking pictures. I’ve never even been to an outdoor pool, well apart from the little outside loop centre parcs have but that doesn’t count, lol. I honestly believe it would be a once in a lifetime experience to see views that like, plus I want to see if the water really is that ‘light’ blue in real life.
THAILAND – Phuket Island
Now I’ve reached my twenties I have quite a few friends who’ve gone off on their travels and one place that everyone goes to is Thailand.
It’s made out to be such an experience, I mean you’ve got to admit the pictures look like they’re from a whole other world.
I want to experience this place of beauty.
You may have heard me mention this about 50 times before, can you tell I really really want to go?
Lew and I have it on our list of places to go together, it’s one we want to do properly with a decent amount of time in Paris too so we can explore the city. We want to save saved up enough money so we can buy all the treats in the shape of Mickey’s head, without worrying that it’s cost us £20 for a light snack.
OH BOY, I can’t wait to go there, seeing the castle lit up at nighttime, ekkk!
Where is on your bucket list to visit?
