I didn’t set myself any resolutions at the start of 2019 as I didn’t want to ‘pressure’ myself into goals I didn’t believe in. I’ve now had a little bit of time to think on the topic so I’ve come up with a few small things I would like to achieve/ work towards this year:
I’m one of those people who stress about the smallest things, plus they are also weirdest things too. It’s said not to stress about a situation that hasn’t happened yet as it may never happen, however, my brain doesn’t quite seem able to do that.
I would love to try and stop worrying about the little things, I want to find ways to relax my brain when it won’t switch off from overthinking.
MAKE TIME FOR THE THINGS I LOVE
it’s so easy when you get busy with work and everything else in life to not make time for the things that make you the happiest.
I’ll give you an example:
One thing that makes me happy as is writing for my blog, however, some evenings I would get in turn the tv on and watch pure RUBBISH. The end of the evening would arrive and I would feel rubbish as I haven’t done anything I truly love, so essentially in my mind I’ve wasted the time.
Does anyone else feel like this?
I’m going to combat this by making TO DO lists. I can get in from work and aim to tick a couple of things off that evening, even if one of the things is something basic like do some washing.
BOOK A HOLIDAY
I haven’t been on holiday since the summer of 2016.
I aim to have one booked within the next month; Lewiss and I are going to sit down and go through different locations and options and BOOK something. I’m so desperate for a hot holiday and a well-deserved break.
STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE PAST
I tend to get caught up in previous situations, I’ll end up sitting worrying about things that have happened before and how they could happen again.
It’s time to live life in the moment and take everything as it comes as everything make work out for the better.
